Terms & Conditions

  • Teams are responsible for providing their own tournament equipment, including cleats, flags, mouthguards, and any other necessary gear.

Participation

  • The competition is open to a maximum of 15 players, comprising a mix of rookies and veterans.

  • A registered team roster should prioritize rookies over veterans to align with the tournament's objective.

  • Players are only allowed to play for their registered team throughout the tournament. Should a player be found playing for multiple teams, an automatic disqualification for the teams they have played for will be enforced.

Referee & Officials

  • Each participating team must nominate two (2) referees for this tournament.

  • Referees can be players themselves or external individuals, as long as they represent the team as officials.

  • Each official may only represent one team at a time.

  • Officials may be of any gender.

  • Failure to nominate referees will result in a RM300 fine per referee.

Forms

  • All participating teams and players must submit waiver and PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) forms.

Eligibilty

  • Players must be aged 16 years and above to participate in the tournament.

  • Waiver forms for players below the age of 18 will be provided upon request from the respective 'Team Captains' during the registration of players.

  • This form is compulsory and player whom failed to provide this may not be eligible to play for the tournament.

Modifications

  • The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the competition at any time without prior notice and for any reason.

  • Should any teams/clubs have any request for exceptions, an official email to juggsmy@gmail.com must be sent prior to registration. Matter will be brought up to all team representatives or manager to be voted on. Approvals will take one to three (3) working days.

Definitions

  • Rookies are defined as players with less than three (3) years of experience in flag football, excluding those who were absent from the sport for a period of time.

  • Veterans are defined as players who have participated in any tournament (local or international) before December 2023.

  • A minimum of 2 rookie players must be on the field at all times during a match. And,

  • A maximum of 3 veterans are allowed on the field at all times during a match as well.

  • In the scenario that a team is short of rookie players to fill the required stipulations above, veterans can not replace the rookie and the team can only field as what was stipulated above (with less players).

  • Particular attention is given to the quarterback position—the organisers will consider a veteran player a ‘rookie’ if she is playing the position for the first time.
